Maple Bear’s Day Care program has been designed, keeping in mind the physical, social, intellectual, creative and emotional needs of the child (appropriate to each age). The program takes care of all the aspects related to development in children and helps children’s holistic growth. The Day Care is offered as a value added service in a structured and detailed manner available for both- its own enrolled children, as well as for children from various other schools. Thus, it poses an opportunity for children from schools other than Maple Bear, to experience firsthand the core pillars of the Maple Bear system.

Goal: For mothers/parents to understand the importance of continuing education outside the classroom and in their homes, while learning the techniques involved.
SATURDAY PROGRAM (Level JKG & SKG)
This program provides parents of children at this age with an option for academic registration on Saturdays (especially convenient for parents who work on Saturdays, or want to keep their child busy during part of the weekend). The program is focused on mostly all interactive and hands-on exercises that will reinforce themes being taught during the course of their regular school year.
The Saturday program is beneficial for those children having some difficulty grasping certain topics taught from Monday to Friday. Simultaneously, the themes may be expanded for quick learners.
THEMATIC SUMMER CAMPS
Maple Bear™ is unique in its offering of thematic summer camps, ranging from themes like Dinosaurs and Trees, for age groups 2 to 8 years old. Some themes are expanded to cater to higher age groups (till 10 years of age).

Students will be engaged in reading and writing activities; including phonics, vocabulary developmental and grammar. An additional goal of this program is to expand knowledge through literacy.
The Intensive Literacy Program (ILP) has 40-45 minutes of daily academic programming, focused on reading and writing.
INTENSIVE KINDERGARTEN PLUS (Level: SKG)
The purpose of the program is to enhance student’s English literacy skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and representing through informational texts in Science and Social Studies. Students will be engaged in problem-solving activities, planning, designing and writing. They will learn about reading, comprehension strategies, making oral presentations, and evaluating or reflecting on their work.
The children have two 90 minute lessons per week (approximately). All children learn at different rates, and often require more or less time to meet the learning goals. In order for all children to meet with success, there are a number of strategies which teachers use to accommodate the needs of the learner.
INTENSIVE ENGLISH PLUS (Level: Grade 1 and 2)
The Intensive English Plus Program will enrich the children’s English language learning through the use of factual reading materials. The units are designed to assist children in understanding and using books to gain knowledge, and to utilise the English language through a variety of learning activities. The more a child is exposed to and uses English, the faster fluency in the language can develop.
